Kathy is one of seven puppies born to Mommy Pippy on May 28th.  There are six girls and one boy in the litter. They are Border collie /Australian Shepherd mixes.  We believe they will be between 45 and 50 pounds when fully grown and have medium length fur. Mommy Pippi was rescued from a high-kill shelter.

This litter is very high energy due to their breed mix. They are incredibly loving and intelligent but they are a working a breed.  The lifestyle required for this letter is an extremely active one.  They will excel in agility or in an herding environment. The entire litter is looking to bond and will do anything to win you over.  They even know how to walk backwards which is a border collie trait.  They all have fantastic temperaments. They have all been paper trained.

Kathy is the one that most resembles Mommy Pippy.   She may very well end up as the best hetder of all.  She is already vocal and is always at her foster mom's feet when tasks in the whelping room are being performed.  She doesn't miss anything.  She doesn't like to be restrainef, she is just such a wiggle butt at the moment.  Kathy is great with her siblings.  On July 12th, Kathy had her first set of vaccines, including Bordetella. She weighed in at 3.4 kg.  she has been dewormed every two weeks since birth and her fecal result was negative.

The entire litter is named after some of the veterinarians and support staff at the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic. We treasure and value their support.

A fully fenced yard and a veterinarian history of compliance is mandatory in order to apply for Kathy.
