I’m addition to above, I have had Zeus since a puppy. He has been a resource guarded since, despite training and behavioural classes. He growls if his food is left out and not eaten, however will back again when told. We have a 2 year old and he was provoked by her (she grabbed her face when I turned by back) and he grabbed her by the arm and shook it. She was left with scrapes and bruises.
Zeus is not a bad dog by any means, but because of his temperament we don’t feel comfortable keeping him in our home as we plan to have another baby.
