Loki

Loki is a great dog for the right house. He is laid back in the house. He enjoys laying by his owner's feet during the day and playing with his toys or watching tv (especially animal shows!). He is not destructive in the home, he knows what he's allowed to chew on. He has a fenced yard and enjoys being outside when the family is out. Since COVID-19, he has been accustomed to having someone home with him and doesn't like being left alone. Last fall/winter he was fine with being left in his crate while the family was out. Loki is crate trained and enjoys sleeping in his crate at night. He enjoys getting his exercise in the evening when the temperature has dropped. After he's gone for a bike ride/walk/jog, he's usually out for the night. He does NOT like to be disturbed when he's tired. Loki loves every person he meets outside (he hasn't met new people inside lately because of Covid) and tried to greet people he comes across. He knows the commands sit, down, come, stay, spin, crate, up and gentle. He does not like to give up anything he might be carrying around in his mouth can be convinced to trade an item for a treat. He sleeps with blankets in his crate but they need to be removed during the day if he's locked in his crate (he will tear them up in the daytime). Loki is just over 90lbs and is on a supplemented raw diet. He eats in the morning after everyone has settled into their routines. He loves to play tug of war with his toys but will start play growling so we end the game then. He loves to show people a toy when they come into the house (he learned this from our older dog). He enjoys seeing our neighbours through the fence when he's outside. He never barks at them but will follow them along the fence while they are there. Loki has in the past enjoyed greeting the children that come off the school bus in the afternoon.
