Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Bam Bam. He is a Boxer/Shep mix. Bam Bam, Pebbles and Laxton were surrendered by one of the families in the First Nations Community to have a better life. He has a medium-length soft hair coat.
This darling came into us emaciated. He and his sister did not have a great start and his nutrition was minimal. He had tested positive for Giardia so all three pups were treated. He has gained significant weight now and is doing well. Bam Bam is a wonderful gentle soul. He too is quiet, like his sister which is typical of the Boxer that is in his mix. He is a beautiful colour and we look forward to seeing what he looks like when fully grown.
Bam Bam has grown into a very large boy. He is definitely over 100 lbs and sure looks like he has Great Dane in him. He has continued to have a very nice disposition and is no longer in the mouthing stage. He eats 7 cups of food daily and has long legs. Bam Bam currently doesn't use a crate. He is being neutered in September. He will be protective of his family but in a good way. He loves people and is very food motivated. The only time he springs up and down is when it is feeding time and he gets so excited. He knows his basic commands. Bam Bam does well with the other dogs but as always, the opposite sex is the best dynamic. If you love large dogs, you will love him when you meet him.
Thank you Melissa Caron Photography for these beautiful Spring Photos.
