Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Ranger.  This fine boy is most likely a Heeler/Hound mix.  He is 50lbs and has medium length fur.  Ranger is 2 years old and was found as a stray.

Ranger is so cute.  His eyes willl melt your soul.  He is quite well behaved for an adolescent.  He is housebroken and doesn't require a crate in his current foster home.  He has a good appetite and was placed on puppy food to put some weight on him.    He enjoys playing with other dogs.  We do not know how he is with cats.  Ranger bkarks only if there is a reason.  He does not have a hound bark.

He has a beautiful black heart marking on his side.  This is so symbolic of his personality.  He is very loving and craves attention.  Ranger loves children but we are working on ensuring he doesn't jump up when excited.  Ranger does quite well in the car and does not get car sick.  He will require work on his leash training.  His attention span is short as he's still a pup at heart.
The ideal home Ranger is one where a family member is home more often than not.    A family with a current resident canine would be best as hound mixes excel with another dog in the home.  A cat free home is best.

Ranger is neutered, up to date with vaccines, 4dx tested negative and in flea and tick prevention.

A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian history of compliance is mandatory in order to apply for Ranger.
