Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Tumble. Her father is a Malinois and her mother is a Mastiff Mix. The owner surrendered the entire litter and the Mom. Our Rescue took one pup and the owner found homes for all the others.
Tumble has been a real joy to foster. She has grown into a beautiful big girl. Her Mom was 140lbs and Tumble now is full grown at 90 lbs. She has the brains of a shepherd and the energy level of a Mastiff. Tumble loves playing with her foster family's dogs but plays hard and is known as the female linebacker. It took some time to find the right kind of food for her. She has a sensitive stomach so we searched long and hard. We found it with any fish based food which we feed her twice daily. She requires a good round of exercise twice daily which helps keep her trim figure. She still is a big pup so enjoys chewing on bully sticks, kongs with canned dog food inside etc.
Tumble rides well in the vehicle and loves every second of it. She is great in the bathtub once you lift her in. She is a good girl for her nail trims and is housebroken. Due to her breed mix, we believe she would chase cats so a cat-free home is mandatory. This lovely lady loves cuddles from everyone and is super happy to be on the couch watching Netflix movies.
She is a super girl, friendly with all, and has done well at all social events she has participated in. She adores children, typical of her breed mix. Tumble has not been destructive in the home. so has never been crated. She will make an ideal family member.
The ideal home for Tumble will be one where she has a family willing to take her to obedience classes and continue her socialization. She is super strong already, so a family that had older children would be best. She needs work walking on a lead but will be a quick learner given the chance. She is used to country living so city living will be new for her.
She is spayed, up to date with vaccines, 4dx tested negative, on heartworm flea tick prevention and microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $250.
