Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Mommy Zoey. She is a 3 year old Bull Mastiff weighing 110lbs. She has a short hair coat. She was seized by the shelter after being adopted and the owner promptly breeding her for profit.
Mommy Zoey is a fabulous girl. She is the perfect extra large breed dog loving all family members, children and other dogs. She is typical of her breed, a couch potato the majority of the time. She is loving, obedient and alert. She will bark at anything and anyone new. She is protective of all members in the home and makes an excellent watch dog. She listens very well and will stop barking once you ask her to do so. She is fantastic in the vehicle.
Zoey adores children and is very nurturing having had 3 litters and nursed an orphan litter as well. Shedding is minimal due to her short hair coat. She eats 3 cups of food, twice daily and requires a diet with grains. She enjoys food but doesn't over do it. She is fully housebroken. Zoey loves to go for walks but does pull hard if she sees someone or another animal.
She loves to sleep on the couch and bed and is a big snorer. Zoey is a very clean girl. She will play with other dogs and is very good with puppies.
Zoey will be vetted on January 3 and micro chipped. Her spay is booked for Feb 24th.
A fully fenced yard is mandatory to apply for our Zoey.
