Rumball

Hi! My Name Is Rumball

We're happy to tell you that Rumball has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Rumball.  He is one of 9 puppies born to Mommy Molly on Nov 4.  There are 6 girls and 3 boys in this litter.  Mommy Molly is a heeler/lab and we have no idea of the father's breed as she was found already pregnant in the shelter.  Molly weighs 34 lbs.  We expect this litter to be between 35-40lbs when fully grown. They will be a busy bunch as they age due to the heeler mix in them.

This litter is much smaller than Mommy Ellie's litter. They all have beautiful and distinctive heeler markings on their bodies.  Rumball has the most spots and sure looks like a Heeler.   His hair coat will be medium length,  They are all excellent in their bath and having their nails done.  They ride well crated in the vehicle.

Rumball is the most affectionate in the litter.  He currently is also the largest. Rumball refused to be bottle-fed when Mommy Molly developed mastitis so she let him nurse on her other teats. They play very nicely together.  These pups enjoy their toys; squeaky and stuffed ones are their favourites.  They are fed Royal Canin Small breed Puppy food 4 times daily and have done well on it.  As they get larger they should switch to their medium breed size brand.  This litter is paper trained.

On December 30th, the litter received an excellent bill of health. They had their first set of vaccines, including Bordetella, and were microchipped.  Rumball weighed 4.1 kg at 8 weeks of age.  As always Barks and Meows will pay for their spay and neuter at 6 months of age at West Lorne Animal Hospital.

A fully fenced yard or farm is mandatory to apply for this litter.
