Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Rickie. She is one of 4 siblings who entered our Rescue from a Humane Society through PAWS. She has a medium-length coat and has small features. We estimate her to be a mid-size dog when fully grown. We believe she may be a Collie/Meramma cross. The photo of her Mom is attached in this bio.
Rickie was quite shy when she arrived as was her sister Lizzie. They both now have come out of their shells and are quite social. She smiles all day long and is so happy to please and give attention. She too loves food, having come from a home where they were not given enough food. She now looks terrific and we are looking forward to watching her grow. Rickie can be found playing with her sister and stuffie and squeaky toys. She enjoys being outside, running, and playing chase. Rickie enjoys sleeping in her crate with the door open or on a Karunda Bed as she gets warm easily.
Rickie is eating Royal Canin Medium Breed Puppy food three times daily. She runs to her food bowl each time and is fed in her crate. She is papertrained and will also go outside.
Rickie is a gentle little girl and will make a fantastic addition to a family, looking for a smart, sweet family member. The ideal home for this little Angel is not too busy but one that still enjoys going for walks and outdoor playtime. She will become a big cuddlebug, once she has a family all to herself.
On June 14, she is going for her third set of vaccines, including Lepto, Bordetella, and Lyme, She will also be microchipped.
A fully fenced yard or farm is mandatory to apply for our Rickie.
