Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Pebbles. She is a boxer/shep mix with a medium-length coat. Pebbles was surrendered along with her brother Bam Bam and Laxton by a family in the First Nations Community who wanted a better life for them. We estimate that Pebbles may reach 85lbs when fully grown.
Pebbles has grown into a true beauty. She is now spayed and she has a wonderful happy disposition. You can see it in her smile in these beautiful photos. Pebbles gets along very well with other dogs and loves children. She has gained confidence since puppy hood and definitely has a high level of intelligence. This gal loves car rides, even to the vets. She is now bigger than we thought she would be and is still growing. Her love of food, continues and she is now fed twice daily and is on adult food. She is tall now with the long legs of a boxer. Pebbles is not a barker and barks only if there is a reason. Pebbles loves the outdoors and continues to use a harness lead when going out. She is gentle with children and not too boisterous around puppies.
The ideal home for our Pebble is definitely one with a family. Her love of children is evident, as she comes across as nurturing. We realize her breed mix makes her a fabulous family companion. Outdoor activities will make her very happy.
Pebbles has had her first and second series of vaccines, including Lepto and Lyme. She will be microchipped shortly. On April 26, she weighed 12.5kg at 14 weeks.
UPDATE:
Spayed on Oct 30 and weighed 33.2 kg at 10 months.
Final set of vaccines given on May 18. She weighed 17.1 kg.
A fully fenced yard or farm is mandatory to apply for our Pebbles!
