Loki

Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Loki.  He is a 2-year-old Maltipoo.  He weighs 8lbs.  He was an owner surrender as he was living in an apartment with multiple people and who were in school. Loki is a very handsome boy.  He really doesn't care for other dogs but could cohabitate fine with another small female dog.  He seems to really prefer men and has been unpredictable with women.  He is possessive of his male owner if sitting on his lap.  He has not been exposed to children and due to his unpredictability, the family that adopts him shouldn't expose him to them. He is quite independent and one should let him decide he wants to come up on your lap etc.  He does not enjoy being carried around or mollycoddled.  He eats both canned and dry food twice daily.  He is good for the groomer and very good in the car.  He enjoys sleeping on the bed.  He does not like cats.  He is housebroken and pee-pee pad trained.   He pulls on a leash and reacts negatively to other dogs on walks.  The ideal home for Loki is one where the family allows him to just be a dog.  A yard with critters to chase is perfect. Loki is neutered, up to date with vaccines, 4dx tested negative, and on heartworm, flea tick prevention. A fully fenced yard, no access to children, and a Veterinarian History of Compliance are mandatory to apply for him.
