Barks and Meows Rescue are now accepting applications for Juno. Our big fella is just over a year old and is an American Bulldog. He has a short hair coat and was an owner surrender. He weighs 92lbs. Both Juno and his sister were surrendered from a local shelter when the owner's health deteriorated. The family realized that 2 large dogs were not right for the home when one of the parents was ill. His sister has since been adopted and Juno is now ready for his new home and family. Juno is excellent with children. His previous family had children, the youngest being 3. He does, however, tend to be dog selective. He was purchased from a breeder by his previous family. He is crate trained but it is not necessary. He is fully housebroken. Juno is a low energy dog. He loves being around the family. Car rides are his favorite thing and he rides very well in the vehicle. Juno has never been around cats. He walks well on a lead and body harness. He is a big baby who loves attention. He doesn't get jealous of the other dogs getting attention. He is allowed on the furniture and cuddling with family members. He will bark when someone is at the door but calms down as soon as he is told to do so. We are very partial to his breed mix and believe they are one of the best family dogs for a family. They bond quickly with all family members. The ideal home for Juno is one with children. He just loves them. It must be a cat-free home. A family with a bully breed experience is a must. Juno is neutered, up to date with vaccines, 4dx tested negative, dewormed and Heartworm/Flea. Prevention. He is also microchipped. A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian history of compliance are mandatory to apply for Juno.
