We are now accepting applications for our gal
Luna. Luna is a young and playful 1 year old lab / husky mix is our guess.  She is very lean and has long legs.  She weighs 45lbs and is a high energy pup still.  Her hair coat is medium length.  Luna was surrendered by a family to a Veterinarian for euthanizing due to them not wanting her anymore.  The vet convinced them to sign her over to Rescue as she is a great dog, healthy and still a baby.  She is extremely loving and affectionate.

Luna loves to play outside with the other dogs in her foster home.  She is very active and is on the go constantly.  She is fed three times a day due to her energy level and is on puppy food to give her the calories she currently burns.  She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate if her foster parents are gone.  She will get into mischief at this age so crating is important at this stage in her life.   She is fully housebroken.

Luna will require a family that includes her in daily activities as her intelligence level is high.  She will become bored very quickly.  She gets along well with both males and females.  A couple of walks a day for her at this point is necessary.  Luna may make a very good jogging partner.  She is learning her manners, including jumping up on your loved ones and reaching for those edibles in the counters is not allowed.   A body harness will be required for her when out on walks.  She has not been tested with cats at this point.  She is great with children and loves to cuddle and give kisses.

Luna is spayed, fully vaccinated including Bordetella, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, on heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention and is microchipped.

A fully fenced yard minimum 6 ft wooden and a Veterinarian history of compliance, are mandatory in order to apply for our Luna.
