Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Brava.  She is one of 5 babies born to Mommy Chloe on August 2.  There are three boys and two girls in the litter.  Mom is a Border Terrier and we believe that the dad is a Chihuahua mix.   Mommy Chloe was pulled from a hoarding situation already pregnant.

Brava is a very energetic little girl.  She's loving and playful but still squirms when picked up and cuddled.  She loves to give kisses.  The whole litter plays so well together and never have spats.  They are a very quiet litter, getting that trait from Chloe.

Brava is one of two that are first at the food bowl when mealtime is served. They are eating Royal Canin Small Breed puppy food.  She still likes to nurse.  She is short haired and most likely will remain so.  Mommy Chloe is 20lbs so Brava should not get any larger than that.  The litter is paper trained and Brava does well at bath time. The litter has been dewormed every two weeks since birth.

On Thursday Sept 26, the litter will receive a health check as well as their fist set of vaccines, including Bordetella.  They will require a booster 4 weeks later and their rabies vaccine given at 4 months of age.

A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian history of compliance is mandatory in order to apply for Brava.
