Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Cranberry. She is a Chesapeake Retriever/Border Collie. She has a wavy medium haircoat, Cranberry and her sister Chutney are owner surrenders when a neighbor's dog jumped the fenced and mounted their own dog. They will be medium sized dogs when fully grown.
This breed mix is just one of the nicest we have every come in contact with. Their dispositions are so gentle and lovely. They are both very quiet, and have excellent recall. The family who will get to call these gals their own, will be very lucky and very pleased. Both girls are gentle and not nippy. They love to play with their toys as well as other dogs. They both have the intelligence of the border collie and the disposition of the Chesapeake.
Cranberry's fur, is currently a bit more longer than Chutneys. She is the smaller of the two. She loves to cuddle and is very good in the bathtub. She is fed twice daily and is currently eating Royal Canin Labrador puppy food. Currently they are crated when in the vehicle and do not get carsick. . They are not showing any signs of having a prey drive.
Both of these girls will do well in a home with a family with children. They are calm, not hyper which is a benefit when having children in the home.
A fully fenced yard is mandatory to apply for our Cranberry.
We thank Heidi K Photography for showcasing Cranberry so well and true to form.
