Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Ripple. He is one of 4 puppies surrendered by a backyard breeder who could not sell them. Their Mom is a Red Siberian Husky and the Dad is a Short Haired Saint Bernard. They all have medium length coats. They were born on National Ice Cream Flavour Day, July 1, 2024, hence the name Ripple.
Ripple has gained so much confidence since arriving in foster care. He enjoys routine so eagerly runs to his crate when it is time to eat. This litter is a very quiet one and enjoy playing with other pups. He has lovely green eyes and his coat is wavy in some spots. This little man may reach 60lbs, certainly not the size of his Dad. Their paws are not large and they will be more thick than thin. He currently is eating twice daily and is on Royal Canin Labrador Retriever Puppy food.
Oh boy he loves to play outside. Due to their breed mix, he gets warm easily so is loving the cool Autumn months. They all like to chew so bully sticks and other durable Kong like toys do well for them. He sleeps on a Karunda bed at night and is a good boy in the bathtub.
Their temperaments are calm, not hyper like a Husky. They are quiet and only barks a little when playing with each other. They do not get carsick and are currently crated when in the vehicle.
They will need to learn how to walk on a harness and lead. They learn new tasks quickly and go outside to potty.
Ripple has had two sets of vaccines and is dewormed.
A fully fenced yard is mandatory to apply for our Ripple
