Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Sally. She is an Aussie mix, surrendered to Rescue by a breeder at 8 weeks of age as they could not sell her. She has incredibly soft fur, medium length. She is not a large dog and will be no larger than 40 lb when fully grown.
Sally arrived at our Rescue and instantly felt at ease with other dogs in her foster home. She quickly came out of her shell and is just a dream pup. Sally likes to play but not roughhouse with the other dogs. She has a great appetite and is fed 3 times daily, Pro Plan puppy food. She loves all sorts of toys and is a quiet gal. She only barks when her foster parents come home as she is so excited to see them.
Sally is great in the bathtub. She is not a pushy dog, and she is delighted when she is with her humans. This breed mix is very intelligent. You can watch her and see her focusing on her surroundings. She learns new tasks very quickly. Sally has not been destructive in her foster home. She loves to go outside. She recently was at a Pet Valu meet and greet and was loved by all. She loves children and is a very gentle puppy. She is perfect at bath time. Sally rides well in the vehicle. Sally is both paper trained and will go outside.
The ideal home for Sally is one where her family members are home quite a bit. She would do very well with another dog in the home, the ideal dynamic, having another male canine.
Sally has had her first and second set of vaccines, is microchipped and on flea/tick prevention. She is dewormed monthly.
A fully fenced yard is mandatory to apply for our Sally.
