Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Cecile. She is estimated by the vets to be 12 years old. She was found curled up outside an old Kmart store in Kentucky. She weighs 12.6lb.
Cecile was found with 50% hair loss due to flea dermatitis. No one came looking for her. We had her vetting done and she was found to be spayed and 4dx tested negative. We had all her vaccines done and placed her on heartworm flea tick monthly prevention. She required two courses of antibiotics to fight the yeast infection on her skin. Once in Ontario, we had her bloodwork done including a t4 which came back normal. The vets said she should have a couple of teeth removed.
Cecile has been found to be good with dogs, cats and children while in foster care. She is fed three times daily Hills Science Diet 11 years plus and Fresh pet on top. She is housebroken and will walk around the perimeter of her yard multiple times before doing her business. She loves her doggie bed and being touched by her foster family.
A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian History of Compliance are mandatory to apply for our Cecile.
