Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Kringle.  He is a 10 year old Beagle, weighing in at 22lbs.  He was found as a stray and has medium length fur.

Kringle is a happy guy.  He gets along with other dogs but not cats or birds!!  He is fully housebroken and loves going for walks and exploring in the backyard.  He is typical in that he enjoys his food and runs to his crate for mealtime.  He is a quiet boy unless he catches the scent of something outside then he will alert you.

Of course he is not at all destructive in the home.  Though he enjoys the company of other dogs, he doesn't play with them.  He is only crated to eat, otherwise he's on the couch most of the time.  He takes treats gently but his food is measured out to ensure he doesn't overeat which is a hound trait.  He loves car rides and is good with children.

Kringle had a non cancerous cyst removed from his back during his neuter and it has healed up nicely.  He also had blood work done and the results were good.  The vets feel he may have a bit of arthritis in his back end but he is a healthy senior.

The ideal home for Kringle would be a quiet home, perhaps where one family member is home full time.  Another senior dog to keep him company would be really wonderful.

A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian history of compliance is mandatory in order to apply for Kringle.

Kringle is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and has had blood work done.
