Rates & Services

Barks and Meows are determined to ensure we have the proper home plan for your pets. When you contact us, we will schedule a home visit to meet with both you and your pets. This visit will take approximately 45 minutes. This free consultation is very important to ensure that your pets feel comfortable with us. If you decide that you would like to work with us going forward, we will work with you in developing a pet and home care plan that meets your needs. Ensuring that we understand and note your current schedule for feeding and walking is important. This will help to minimize the stress for your pets of you being away. If you require further services above our basic, every effort will be made to accommodate for a reasonable fee. The following services are part of our basic plan:

• Feeding, providing water and washing pet bowls
• Changing litter boxes
• Stoop and scooping
• Brushing and combing
• Clean up of indoor pet messes
• Feeding of fish
• Playtime and socialization
• Bringing in newspapers and mail
• Provide a daily checklist on what has been done and note any changes in routine or pets behavior

Additional Services Available:

• alternative pet sitting other than in the home of the client (Limited babysitting spaces in our home)
• 20 minute dog walks while pet sitting in the client's home
• watering indoor or outdoor plants
• Shoveling front steps and walkway
• Pet Taxi
• Shopping for pet items
• Take out garbage or recycling
• Adjust blinds, curtains and or temperature

Areas of Service:

We currently are able to pet sit in the following areas: Strathroy, Mount Brydges, Appin, Glencoe, Melbourne, Wardsville, Newbury, Komoka and Kilworth.

Pet Sitting Services:

Cats and Dogs Visits

• $17.00 one 30 minute visit/day
• $26.50 per day for one doggie sit in our home
• $44.00 per day for two doggie sits in our home
• $10.00 per day for one kitty sit in our home

Additional time for extra pets/service

• $5.00 per each additional 15 minute block after 30 minutes
• Overnight Stay (9pm-7am) = $60.00
• Pet Taxi
• Trips for food, litter, medication, to the vet or groomer. $30.00 per hour
• Key Pickup/Return
• $5.00 key pickup (free if given at initial consultation)
• $5.00 key return

Holidays

$10.00 flat rate surcharge in addition to the regular rate on these days

Other

NSF Cheque Charge = $25.00
