Maple
Miss Maple is lovely small beagle who was rescued from a local rural shelter. This little gal is very socialized with both dogs and cats and typical of hounds gives great big bugs and tiny kisses. Maple is 25 lbs and estimated to be about 2 years old. She is fully crate trained and sleeps with her foster mom on her bed each night. Maple loves to go on walks, but she is a real puller, as her breed mix allows for her to follow her nose. Maple has been named for her lovely maple colored markings. She loves to play tug of war and enjoys her treats in her kong each day. Maple is house broken, fully vaccinated and up-to-date with vaccines. Maple is good in the car and doesn't get car sick. She will be spayed before the adoption as she just finished her heat cycle. Her ideal home is a fully fenced one, with a second resident dog being a true bonus for her. She loves children and all people in general. Maple is slightly timid upon first meeting but quickly warms up, especially if food is used as a motivator :)
